| Looking east through the centre of the intersecting avenues into an old cairn in its centre of the Callanish Standing Stones, standing on a promontory overlooking Loch Roag on the Isle of Lewis' western coast. They were erected over 5,000 years ago, pre-dating the pyramids and one of the most complete stone circles in the British Isles. |
