| Within the main courtyard of the castle: inside the main fortification lies the clan hall and the current family's living quarters. Inside a display case lies a sword used in the Battle of Culloden in 1746. In 1983 ownership of the castle was transferred to a charitable trust established by the MacRae family to maintain and restore the castle. |
