| The breathtaking valley through the Glen Coe, formed by glaciers in the last Ice Age. This is also the place of the infamous Massacre of Glencoe: around 30 members of Clan MacDonald were slaughtered by Scottish government forces led by Clan Campbell in 1692 for not pledging alleigence to the new monarchs William III and Mary II. |
