| The 44m stele (currently under renovation) symbolises the national rebirth of the Armenian people. Twelve slabs, representing the 12 lost Armenian provinces now in present-day Turkey, are positioned in a circle, over and around an eternal flame dedicated to the victims of the genocide. |
