| The former Mendoza branch of the Banco Hipotecario, home to the city's Ministry of Culture since 2003, opposite the south-western corner of Plaza San Martín. Opened after 5 years' construction in 1929, it funded Mendoza's wine industry, before privatisation in the late 1990s. |
