| The East Gate (called Changle, or Eternal Joy) of the walls of Xi'an. The city's historic walls date from the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD), but were rebuilt during the beginning of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD). It is China's most complete, and only functional, city wall. |
