| On the southern edge of Odeonsplatz is the Field Marshals' Hall, built in 1844 in the manner of a Florentine loggia. After a failed putsch here by Adolf Hitler late in 1923 (that sent him to jail), Hitler's honour guards later assembled here during the Third Reich. |
