Walking up the cobbled Pikk jalg (Long Leg) into the Toompea district, a limestone hill about 20-30m tall to the south-west of Vanalinn, alongside its defensive walls; the Alexander Nevsky cathedral stands just ahead in Lossi plats (Castle Square). Toompea is historically linked with the rule, and power, of Estonia.
