| South-west of Monaco-Ville sits Fontvieille and its port, reclaimed from the Mediterranean Sea during the 1970s and 1980s by prince Rainier III and Monaco's youngest ward. Behind, along the French border stands the Louis II Stadium (centre-left of picture), all built on reclaimed land.
