| The Auckland Civic Theatre on the corner of Queen and Wellesley Streets. Opening in December 1929, it is a performing-arts theatre, live-music venue, and cinema. It was carefully renovated over two years and reopened in 1999, and is still the largest theatre in New Zealand. |
