| The Cathedral of St. Patrick and St. Joseph on Wyndham Street, seat of the diocese of Auckland from 1848. A wooden chapel was built here in January 1843, replaced by a stone church in 1850, extended in 1885, then subsumed into the expansion into a cathedral in 1907. |
