| Castle Square, in front of Warsaw's royal castle (far right of picture), is the main southern entrance to Warsaw's Stare Miasto (Old Town). In its centre is the Kolumna Zygmunta III Wasy (Sigismund III the Great Column), a monument to the king who moved Poland's capital from Kraków to Warsaw by 1609.
