A tortoise makes its way along a safari track. Hlane, meaning "wilderness" in the Swazi language, was named by king Sobhuza II (r. 1899-1982). It is now held in trust for the nation by his son king Mswati III, and is managed by Big Game Parks, a privately-owned body.
