| Phra Ubosot, Wat Pho's ordination hall, used for performing Buddhist rituals, and the most sacred building of the complex. A three-tiered pedestal holds a gilded Buddha, with the ashes of king Rama I (r. 1782-1809) - who originally built the complex - interred under the pedestal. |
