| The Foundation Area Museum, a short distance from the ruins of the San Francisco church, on the eastern edge of Plaza Pedro del Castillo. The museum is on the site of Mendoza's old cabillo (town hall), before the 1861 earthquake levelled it, and holds exhibits of the old city. |
