The southern face of Saint Mary's Cathedral, constructed in the late 1840s. The Roman Catholic cathedral was used as a shelter and hospital for Killarney in the time of the Potato Famine during the 19th century; it's also considered to be the finest example of revival Gothic architecture in Ireland.
