| Spotted on one of the ephemeral islands in the Chobe River's swamplands is a Nile crocodile, most likely lured out of the water by passing animals to prey on (but is also just as happy hunting fish to eat). They are a rather agressive variety of crocodile, can weight up to 160kg, and live up to 20 years old. |
