| The Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Rice Terraces, in Longsheng County, 100km north of Guilin. The terraced fields are evenly sliced into the mountain slope, 800m above sea level, where rice has been cultivated for centuries; they date from the Yuan Dynasty, about 650 years ago. |
