| Stretching along the southern bank of the river Elbe is the Brühlsche Terrasse, an impressive promenade 15m above the riverbank, known as the "balcony of Europe". Visible is the Lipsiusbau Art Gallery (left of picture), and further down, the towers of Frauenkirche.
