| One of the pedestrian bridges over the river Pegnitz is Fleischbrücke ("Meat bridge"), linking the St. Sebald (northern bank, left of picture) and St. Lorenz (southern bank, right) districts. It dates from 1598; a 27m span made it the country's largest masonry bridge arch at the time. |
