| Barcelona's neo-classical Town Hall, dating from 1847, on the south-eastern border of Plaça de Sant Jaume (Saint James Square) in the centre of the Barri Gòtic. Along with the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya (Palace of the Catalonian Government) across the square, it forms Barcelona's political hub.
