| Dating back to its construction in the 14th century, the Royal Chapel to Saint Agatha was part of a historic palace built in the same site on top of Roman ruins (some of which still exist); the palace served the monarches of the (then) Principality of Catalonian (before its absorption into Spain in 1714).
