| On the square at the top of the Uz Jezuite stairway stands the Jesuit Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Dubrovnik's largest place of worship. The single-nave structure was designed by an architect specialising in the building of Jesuit churches throughout Europe, completed in 1725.
