| The Amintore Galli theatre, on the western side of Piazza Cavour, built between 1843-57 as Teatro Nuovo and later named after the Italian composer in 1947. A statue of pope Paul V (r. 1605-21) is a reminder that Rimini was for some time part of the Papal states. |
