| The historic Tiberius Bridge, still linking the core of Rimini's old town (right of picture) to its northern suburbs (left), started under Roman emperor Caesar Augustus in 14AD and completed by Tiberius in 21AD. Made from Istrian limestone, it has endured for nearly 2 millenia. |
