| Standing on Turin's Piazza Castello is the Madama Palace, dating from Roman ages and rebuilt in the 14th century, receiving a baroque facade in the 1720s. It held the first Senate of the Italian Kingdom, and from 1934 has housed the Museum of Ancient Art. |
