| Looking south over Verona from the top of Lamberti Tower, 85m up; Piazza Bra and the Verona Arena are clearly visible (centre of picture). The tower was begun in 1172; it was hit by lightning in 1403, restoration works were started in 1448, finishing in 1464. |
