| One of the city's distinguishing landmarks is the Tokyo City Hall (Tokyo-to Chōsha or Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building), the headquarters of Tokyo's local government (all 23 wards, towns and villages) that constitute the whole Tokyo Metropolis. It is Tokyo's second-tallest building at 243m.
