A hot day for springboks, seeking any kind of shade available in 42°C heat. Etosha National Park is mostly devoid of vegetation, but springboks have easily adapted to what is available. Both sexes sprout a pair of backwards-curving horns, move in mixed-sex herds, and usually live up to 10 years in the wild.
