The 5-tiered, 30m tall Nyatapola Temple, dedicated to Lakshmi, is Bhaktapur's most striking landmark. Built in 1702, it's the tallest temple in Nepal and a classic example of traditional Newari architecture; it somehow survived the 2015 earthquake.
