| The cramped Jewish cemetery attached to the Remuh Synagogue in Kazimierz. In WWII-occupied Poland, the local Jews attempted to completely bury the cemetery to protect it from the Nazis. Even now, many decades later, a slow attempt to excavate the tombstones continues.
