| The historic cathedral of Saint Demetrius, to honour the Christian martyr Demetrius of Thessaloniki, and finished in 1191. The church is known for its white-stone carvings, with about 600 reliefs depicting saints, mythical and real animals. It was Heritage-listed in 1992, and today is a part of an open-air museum. |
