| Looking north out from the Zimbabwean look-outs to the system's major falls: the Main Falls, just west of the centre of the First Gorge. Most of the water passes over the falls here, with a drop of 100m below. The sheer volume of water is so great that the water is hit by strong rising winds and turned into mist. |
