| Looking east down the main street through Victoria Falls, on the southern bank of the Zambezi next to the eponymous cataracts. Initially founded as a settlement in 1901, the construction of the Victoria Falls bridge in 1905 and the railway crossing it cemented its importance. It is today a major tourist centre of Zimbabwe. |
