| The Old Bridge over the river Saar is the oldest bridge in the Saarland, erected in 1546 and connecting St. Johann (east bank, right of picture) to Old Saarbrücken (west bank, left). It originally consisted of 13 arches: now 8 remain, after careful rebuilding after WWII. |
