The Cecilienhof Palace, in Potsdam's northern gardens, built by the Hohenzollern family that ruled Germany until 1918. It is famous for hosting the Potsdam Conference in July-August 1945, where the leaders of the UK, US, and USSR decided the shape of post-WWII Europe after the fall of Nazi Germany.
