| Built between 1815-22 as a seaside retreat for the Prince Regent (later king George IV) is the Royal Pavilion, with a clear Indian influence. Beginning in 1787, the Prince Regent had it rebuilt to its current Indo-Saracenic appearance between 1815-22 prevalent in India for most of the 19th century. |
