| An impressive gateway within the shrine segmenting Naihaiden (the shrine's inner grounds) from Gehaiden (the shrine's outer courtyard). Seen through the gate is the buildings surrounding Noritoden, the shrine's core. The shrine does not actually contain the emperor's grave: that is located south of Kyoto.
