| Perched at the tip of Sceberras peninsula, protecting Valletta and the entrances to Grand and Marsamxett Harbours, is Fort Saint Elmo, named after the patron saint of mariners. Home now to Malta's police academy, it is fenced off and barred to public entry, later restored (after this picture was taken) in 2015. |
