| Better known locally as "Sufragette Square", Khartoum Place was decorated in 1993 - the centenary of New Zealand's women's suffrage - with 2,000 tiles celebrating the country's historic act allowing women to vote in 1893. The stairway links Lorne and Kitchener Streets. |
