| Standing on Plac Wolności (Freedom Square) is the classical Raczyński Library, built in 1822-8 with the financial support of conservative politician Count Edward Raczyński and featuring a colonnade reminiscent of the eastern facade of the Louvre. Today it houses a library and temporary exhibition spaces. |
