Looking across the southern facade of the Imperial Castle. During WWII, Nazi architect Albert Speer had it remodelled into a residence for Hitler; following Soviet occupation, Polish Communists wanted it torn down, but had no funds, removing the top of the damaged tower instead. It now houses a culture centre.
