| Another of Lisbon's street funiculars: the Bica funicular dates from 1892, waiting to leave its street base on Rua de Bica Duarte Belo in Bairro Alto. The line is 245m long, and has an average gradient of 12%. Traction is provided by electric motors powered by overhead cables (so technically it's not a funicular). |
