Looking over the rooftops of the labyrinthine, sloping streets of the Moorish quarter of Alfama between the Castelo de São Jorge and the banks of the river Tagus, taken from a lookout (Miradouro de Santa Luiza) just above. It is the oldest district of Lisbon, named after the Arabic al-hamma, meaning "hot fountains".
