| The Cathedral of Our Lady of Smolensk, in Ulan Ude's southern core, dedicated to the icon of the Theotokos (Mary, mother of God). Construction lasted between 1741-85. Ironically, the cathedral was used as an anti-religious museum during the Soviet era. |
