| Occupying the north-east corner of Stortorget is the city's Renaissance-influenced Town Hall, dating back to 1546 and restored in the 1860s. The ornamental fountain in front replaced the original in the 19th century due to hygiene reasons. The tower of Saint Peter's Church is clearly visible behind it.
