| One of Singapore's oldest (and only suspension) bridges, the Cavenagh Bridge spans the mouth of the Singapore River, linking the Civic District on the northern bank to the Commercial District on the southern bank, replacing a public ferry service in 1870. It is now a pedestrian bridge due to its age and capacity. |
