The Sultan Mosque on North Bridge Road, in the Kampong Glam district. When Singapore was ceded to the British in 1819, this area was granted to Sultan Hussain Shah of Johor, who built a mosque here benefitting his status in 1826. It was rebuilt into its current form in 1928 after falling into dis-repair.
