| The most complete structure is the Temple of Bel (assumed to be a major Palmyrene god), in the centre of its own complex, dedicated to Bel in 32AD. It was sadly detonated by ISIL in August 2015; following the recapture of Palmyra in 2016, it is to be rebuilt from its remains. |
