| Prague's New Town Hall has an interesting history: several Catholic councillors were flung to their deaths through its windows in 1419 by Hussites (a pre-Protestant Christian movement), consequently coining the term "defenestration" and sparking one of three politcal conflicts known as the Defenestrations of Prague.
